- MIDIVERB III Bulk Dump Editor
- -----------------------------
-
- * THIS EDITOR EDITS THE BULK DUMP--
- NOT THE PATCH IN THE EDIT BUFFER!
-
- MIDIVERB doesn't support Patch SysX.
-
- This dump contains all editable
- parameters--including patches.
-
-
- * After each edit, the entire file is
- sent back to the MIDIVERB. Although
- the MIDIVERB takes a leisurely 10
- seconds to store the data, it is
- safe to continue editing.
-
-
- * Always Begin Editing by changing *
- * the patch no; this will activate *
- * the pointer to the correct patch. *
- * ---------------------------------- *
- * Otherwise, you will be editing *
- * the wrong patch! (probably # 100) *
- ______________________________________
-
- * Because the MIDIVERB wasn't designed
- to be edited externally,
-
- --- AUDITIONING IS PROBLEMATIC. ---
-
- - After editing, watch the MIDIVERB's
- display.
-
- - Look out for the Edit mode's DOT
- after the No. You don't want it!
-
- When --- changes to the Patch No.,
-
- - Press MIDIVERB's "PROGRAM" Button.
-
- - Use the "VALUE" buttons to increase
- or decrease the patch no. (by 1).
-
- - Then, restore the original patch no.
-
- (This will load the patch into the
- Active/Edit buffer for auditioning.)
-
- - Use a Synth or Drum machine to send
- AUDIO through the MIDIVERB.
- ______________________________________
-
- * The "Send Program Change" gadgets
- can accomplish the same thing,
-
- but REMEMBER, that they send only
- standard program changes (0-127).
-
- * Editable Patches on the MIDIVERB
- range from 100-199. This means that:
-
- you will have to use MIDI Mapping
- functions for this to work well.
-
- * The Green button retransmits the
- patch no. set above it.
-
- * BEWARE, the MIDIVERB doesn't always
- catch all of the program changes.
- ______________________________________
-
- * If the MIDIVERB gets stuck in EDIT
- mode, you will have to:
-
- use the "PROGRAM" and "VALUE"
- Buttons on the machine to exit and
- reenter the patch (as above).
-
- * This will not affect your edits.
-
- * To test the external Real-Time MIDI-
- -Controlled MODULATION, use the same
- audition method as above, but you
- must also have the MIDI Controllers
- cabled (merged) to the MIDIVERB.
-
- * Don't forget that this is NOT just a
- patch editor. RESTORE ALL will wipe
- out ALL of your work!
